3 days...

until the build has to be sent to our lecturer for GameCity.

I've rigged and animated both the neutral and heavy characters so far.
Their animations will need refining, but they've got animations.

I've just rigged the floaty character. I still need to weight-paint him (and obviously animate him), but as far as I can remember, he really only has 2 animations needed; a 'walk' and a 'run' (as much as a floaty character *can* walk and run). :)

I'll do some proper renders of the animations once I have a texture to put on him. The default grey of Maya really doesn't do them justice.

and he's finished.

Well the neutral rig is finished. hopefully.
put it this way, i'll be able to animate him lol

there are quite a few screenshots of the rig, so i'll only post a couple here.

The rest can be found on my photobucket here

well that's surprising O_O

The first rig I attempted for the re-designed neutral character actually deforms pretty damn nicely even without changing the weight painting.
The ears and arms have issues, but the torso, and legs are pretty good.

Here are some screenshots of the rig test

And here are some images of the character posed. Looks pretty good. Though his face reminds me of something and I can't for the life of me remember what. Some anime or film I watch... kinda reminds me of Noface from Spirited Away a little...

This was just practice until the final model is done and I've received it. Should be sometime Sunday morning. Then.... weight painting X_X
