i don't know what to do...

well that's made everything more complicated.
one person in our house can connect to the internet with his laptop via ethernet cable.
but his PC won't connect via the same cable. neither will my laptop. neither will the XBox360. and nothing will connect wirelessly.

what the hell is going on?
it can't be virgin, otherwise he wouldn't get any internet connection.
and it's highly unlikely that while turned off my laptop managed to change it's settings. and how likely is it that 1 laptop, 2 PCs and 3 gaming consoles all managed to change their settings and screw up?

I don't know who to call or ask...

On topic, i'm at university at the moment making the most of the internet.
I'm researching all the stuff I needed to do over the past 2 weeks and working on walkcycle tests. First i'm going to do the online research. it's more important from a project point of view because it's needed for the deadline. and without the internet at home (and no light at the end of the tunnel in that regard) i'd better get it done now.

i'll update whenever i can find an internet connection...
